In accordance with our mission to “receive the stranger,” NCM offers housing to men who are working to break the cycle of homelessness.  This program is designed to address the long-term needs of men who are homeless and who have disabilities.

It offers some financial assistance, case management to address emotional and physical needs, and employment and education referrals.  Services are based on the individual’s needs and are provided with one-on-one intensive case management through goal planning.  Through NCM’s Permanent Supportive Housing program, men with disabilities now live in apartments throughout the Northside and other Pittsburgh neighborhoods.

How You Can Help the Men in Our Permanent Supportive Housing Program

Your support will help our permanent housing program participants remain stable and independent.  Consider holding a housewares collection at your local church, school, community group or office.  The men in this program, as well as the men in our shelter, are always in need of new twin-size sheet sets, new bath towels, laundry detergent, and cleaning products.
